Introducing Nick LaPorte, President of LaPorte Construction. A second-generation custom home builder and master electrician, Nick leads a company that holds both building and electrical contracting licenses in Georgia and Florida. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Nick is deeply committed to his craft. He earned his BA in Economics from Florida State University and quickly transitioned into the construction world. Known for his hands-on approach, Nick can often be found on-site with a hammer in hand, making sure every detail is perfect. His guiding principle, “I build every home as if I were going to live in it myself,” reflects his dedication to creating homes with exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Missy, and their two sons. The family shares a love for travel, often adding a “sport” to their adventures, whether it’s snowboarding, wakeboarding, dirt biking, or surfing. For this family, every journey is an opportunity for a new and exciting adventure!
Missy LaPorte
Vice President
Missy LaPorte serves as the Vice President of LaPorte Construction. After years of experience in the corporate banking world and various outside sales roles, Missy teamed up with Nick to bring their vision to life. She is responsible for leading the company’s land acquisitions for speculative builds and managing the design of both interior and exterior finishes, ensuring every project reflects their commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
In her spare time, Missy loves spending time with her three favorite “very active” guys—her husband Nick, with whom she’s been married for nearly 20 years, and their sons, Owen and Chase. Keeping up with them is no easy feat, but Missy is determined to stay on their level, even if it means cheering them on from the sidelines!
